Panyong Llanes Private Resort
Despite all doubts, I never regretted availing the chance.
Beach is what I love. And because of that, I wished to celebrate my birthday with my family at the beach. I thought a private resort would be most likely the setup I want. So, I searched for private resorts in Samal that can accommodate over 20 persons.
Panyong Llanes Private Resort
This has been by far the cheapest private resort I have searched via internet in Samal, Davao del Norte, Philippines.
I had a lot of debate on my mind whether if I should choose this resort because I had thoughts like 'Maybe the beach water isn't so nice that's why it offers this low price and maybe it has no proper water, or rest room', and many other things in terms of personal hygiene since I will be with my family.
Despite all doubts, I never regretted availing the chance.

We waited for almost forever. Confex & Co. Bake House
is the newest craze, somewhat like a coffee shop (but no coffee are served here yet... :D), in town to spoil your sweet cravings at a very affordable price. I am so excited to share this news.
I have the beach. Yes, I love it. Matutinao beach resort in Badian, Cebu
is a place with a nice beach water, located in front of a Catholic church and with Kawasan falls entrance. This is also just right along the highway so it will be easy for you to transport and find the resort.
Fears has to be overcome. You just have to DO IT! Canyoneering
For those who do not know about canyoneering or canyoning, it is a kind of sport where a person or a group of people explores the canyons by doing either rappelling, rafting, waterfall jumping, or swimming.
Want to know the feeling?
1, 2, 3... jump! Are the only words that encouraged us to go along the way the canyons of Kawasan Falls. This is not my first time in jumping a cliff but I cannot explain the feeling why it was different. It was INTENSE... There was PRESSURE... BUTTERFLIES IN STOMACH... But the best of all, the feeling of SUCCESS like finally, I did it and I am still alive! (haha) The adventure was like a mission impossible because it was my first time doing this kind of activity and I have no idea what awaits me. Once you jump, you can never go back, unless you wanted to be taken by a rope and do the rappelling(can be possible). If you want to overcome something, especially heights, or prove some bravery, you have to try this one. The cliff wasn't really that high but scares me enough.
I know this is a late post but still I would like to share some things I have realized when I had a long stay in Hong Kong during winter.
Though this was a second time around tour, it's MINE and MY FAMILY's first Christmas celebration experience in Hong Kong. Like ever!!! And because I cannot tell you every detail of what happened and where we’ve been, I'll just give you a handful tips if you have plans on travelling during winter time. So here they are: 9 Surviving tips in Hong Kong1. Prepare the Right Clothes
From 24 degrees, the temperature drops to 14 to 17 celsius degrees. This means a perfect time to show off your winter collection clothes!! Now I understand why people are wearing shorts with leggings underneath. I tell you, for a person who isn't used to winter, the coldness struck right into your clothes into your skin!! In reality, comparing in Philippines, it's like opening a freezer in a highest temperature and putting your head inside of it (hehehe - just kidding). Well, that was what I felt the whole time. The air pierces through my brain giving me headache every time we are out. So, always use cottony clothes and make sure it can help prevent the cold air not the other way around. Better to use beanies. I know in the Philippines there are no many winter jackets on sale, if there is it's sure expensive so better go to UK (ukay-ukay, a store for used imported clothes).
Curious on what you can do and where are the perfect places to enjoy and have a fulfilling stay here in Davao? Know it here. Davao has many things to offer whether on food, extreme sports, relaxation and so much more. It's my recommended list and pick on your favor.
Riding on a "habal-habal" (single motor) for 15 minutes, costing 70 - 80 pesos from Samal barge terminal, at last, I was able to reach and breakthrough the modern yet naturist feel of the newest getaway resort in Samal, Secdea Beach Resort, which had a soft opening last January 2013. Then and then the resort has been wowing customers, including me, and lead clients with their awesome landscape and vast amenities.
A city of cities where you can feel a sense of safety and tranquility, where noise and pollution are set to minimum and fun is seen wherever you set your eyes into. Dubbed as the Land of Promise, a place of great beauty amidst the turmoil, let’s discover the place of Davao City.
